The end of September can be a tough time.
The School of Life is back a month, the Pencil Case of Youth has been taken by the Bully of Time. And there’s already a tear in the trousers of the New Grey Slacks of Motivation.
To help counteract the feeling that the year is flying in lads, come in out of the world to yet another great Inn Jokes Line up.
Des Bishop will be dropping by. He’s just back from touring the world but a nagging sense that something was missing from his life has brought him back to the Patriots Inn. That and also he’s recording a TV special the day after. Either way it’s great to have Des back at the Inn.
Joining Des is Waterford Whispers writer Gerry McBride. As well as writing for Ireland’s most trustworthy news source, Gerry is a damn fine funny talker with mike in hand.
Our opening  act is Ronan Grace, described as a “hilariously boozy thought merchant” who combines old school wit with new age cynicism blended with a generous twist of silly. He has been gigged all over Ireland and the UK supporting some big names.
And you’re stuck with me as MC!
